Yep, that's right! Hunter Boy is now 2 years old! We celebrated the day with Mickey Mouse pancakes, going to the zoo, and a Birthday party! What a day! Some things that Hunter is up to these days include: playing baseball, swimming, playing with "puppy", doing things himself, sleeping in a big boy bed, and potty training! He LOVE's garbage trucks and calls them Manny, not sure where that came from but that's what he calls them. He also loves about every other big truck. He is becoming such a little boy and is Mr. Independent. He is getting so animated with his facial expressions and some of the things he comes up with to say and do. He certainly keeps us entertained! Also, Hunter is getting ready to share his room with a baby sister... not until November, but he's getting ready! We sure do love our little Hunter Boy!

So for Dario's big three-0, I surprised him and took him on a trip! Our first stop was Disneyland! It was so much fun! I think the best part for both Dario and I was just watching Hunter and all his excitement about it all! Hunter loved pirates of the Caribbean, after we rode that he kept saying "yo-ho". Hunter also got the chance to meet Pooh Bear, Tigger, and Mickey Mouse! He gave them all a big hug and told them he loved them.. so cute!
Our next stop was Arizona! We went to see the Yankees and the Diamondbacks play! We also ate at Joes BBQ(yum yum) and relaxed at the pool a lot while we were there. So enough explainin, there are plenty of pics for you to see for yourself!

After all said and done, it turned out to be a great surprise!

I know it has been a while but don't worry, I'm not going to bombard you with a huge update or a ton of pics... We are so excited that the warm weather is finally here! To kick it off we played in the sprinkler the other day! Hunter had a great time, and especially loved spraying Dex! Hunter is getting to be such a little boy, as opposed to a baby.. His vocabulary is widening by the day and so is his curiosity. He is so much fun, he keeps life lively!

We woke up to a white Easter! Just what I've always dreamed of.. NOT. But we really did, and we didn't get a picture of it because, come on, who wants to see snow in April. Dario and I put together a mini Easter egg hunt in our family room for Hunter. He found all the eggs a little too fast, so I guess we should have hid them better. But none the less he enjoyed it! In the afternoon we went up to my parents house for an outdoor Easter egg hunt (yes the snow melted) and a yummy lunch! Thanks Mom and Dad! It was a fun day filled with family, candy, eggs, and conference. :) Here are some fun pics!

Hello! So, what have we been up to you ask? Well, really not a whole lot. Still just figuring out life with a dog and a 1 year old... At times it can be trying, but all in all I think we are doing great! Dex is pretty much potty trained! Hooray! Hunter on the other hand just likes toying around with the idea.. Hunter is getting such a personality, and it is sooo fun! He definitely keeps us entertained! Here are a couple pics, enjoy!

Ha ha! Ok, so this isnt a dog, but he's pretty darn cute! However, yes we really did get a new puppy! For those of you who really know us, know that this is quite the step for Dario. He has never had a dog and the closest thing to a pet would be the 2 gold fish we had a couple of years ago. As for me I have always loved dogs and for the most part growing up we always had a dog. Dario would probably tell you that from day one of our marriage I have wanted a dog of our own. So I dont know how, but I finally talked him into it... and no it wasnt easy! So meet Dex, our 6 week old chocolate lab!

I know that it has already come and gone, but Merry Christmas! We hope that you all had a great one, because we sure did! We started it off by going to our traditional Christmas eve bowl (where Dario won for the third year in a row with a whopping 208)! We woke up on Christmas morning and opened about half of our presents before Hunter decided he had had enough. So we took a break and went to my parents house for a yummy breakfast. Then we came back home and for the second year in a row made a tasty turkey dinner to share with our family! We then finished the day by opening the rest of our presents! It really was a great Christmas, filled with yummy food, good company, and lots of memories! Here are some pictures...

"Snow" much fun!

So we got a bit of snow here the other day, and Hunter and I thought we'd go and check it out. Not to mention this would be Hunter's first time playing in the snow!

Well, when I first opened the front door he was excited to see the Christmas lights and the look of the white snow... then he took a couple of steps into the snow and panicked when he couldn't see his feet or the ground. It took a couple of minutes and some convincing that it was really ok, and then he was fine. First time in the snow: Successful!

So we took Hunter to his first live Jazz game over the weekend! It was a lot of fun and Hunter did amazing! It was fun to watch him as he clapped along with the crowd, danced to the music, and watched the players run around!

This was Hunter's first time making sugar cookies, and he sure enjoyed himself! It was kinda messy, but oh so fun! I think Hunter's most favorite part was eating the cookie dough, followed closely by poking the cookies! My favorite part was watching Hunter have so much fun!

One day I was telling Dario what I would do if I were given a certain amount of money, that is, makeover our room! He laughed at me wondering where I come up with some of my ideas, he could think of some more fun ways to spend money... Also, he couldn't see anything wrong with our room and was a little reluctant to paint over our red walls... witch was part of my plan... So, I let it go and didn't press the issue. Well, our anniversary came around and he was sooo excited to give me my card... Low and behold it had the exact amount of money in it that I had mentioned when telling him my plans for our room! I love my Dario! So, it took a little while to find the time and the right items to redo our room with, but it is done! I love our new room!

Once again its the end of the month and I find myself needing to update our blog! So before the final hours of the month slip away I best post something! Life for our family is going great! Dario's job is going good, I'm keeping busy at home, and Hunter is always finding something to get into, or onto! The only thing that is not necessarily great is that Hunter is growing up way to fast. Some things that he has been up to lately are climbing, running, coloring, saying Bbye, waving, blowing kisses, kissing mom, turning on the radio, eating pretzels, folding his arms for prayers, dancing, and eating all the raspberries he can get his hands on! Yellowstone

This past week we went camping up at Yellowstone with the Foote family! This was our first visit to Yellowstone, also Hunter Boy's first time camping, and he did great! He loved playing in the dirt, seeing all the animals, and watching the fire! The weather really was just right, and the scenery was beautiful! Here are some (a lot) of pictures, in no particular order. Enjoy!

So Hunter had his big FIRST BIRTHDAY! I can hardly believe that a whole year has already gone by since the day Hunter was born!

On Saturday we joined the hundreds of thousands of people and went with the fam to the Hill Air Force Base in Ogden to see the air show! We stood in awe as we watched the Thunderbirds race through the sky and do their thing. This was a first time not only for Hunter but also for Dario. We all really enjoyed it and are already looking forward to next time!

On the 24th Hunter turned 10 months old! And yesterday I turned, well no need to mention numbers, so lets just say another year older! It was a great day! Dario took the day off and really I could not have asked for more! We went to the temple, took Hunter to his check-up, ran some errands, I got a pedicure :) and we had dinner with the family! I love birthdays, especially when its mine!

Hunter's check-up went great! Once again the doctor was very pleased with our little Hunter boy and that is always a relief! Hunter is starting to get a little more daring with his attempt at walking. So I predict that it wont be much longer before I am telling you that he is walking... Not that I am rushing it, I'm perfectly happy with him just crawling around for now!

Anyways, we are all doing great! We are just SOOOO happy that it is summer time!

I am not so sure about that... I put a couple of Hunter's blankets and wash cloths in the washer, then hurried to look for some more to add to it, when I came back Hunter had pulled almost everything out! I guess that he thought his blankets were clean enough and did not need to be washed! It was pretty fun to watch him, even if he wasnt really helping me!

So this was the weekend that Dario and the guy's went to Arizona for the race. If you are wondering if they had any fun let me put it to you this way, they already have there trip planned for next spring! So with that being said, us girls feel that before they go off again, we need a weekend away with just the girls! I think that Disneyland would be a great place to escape to... So anyways, back to the race. They drove down through the night on Friday arriving in Phoenix at the crack of dawn. They got a couple hours of sleep, had some pancakes (thanks to Doug and Alyssa, my aunt and uncle). Then they were off to the races! The actual race didn't start until 5:00 but the gates opened at 12:00, so they figured they would show up at 12 and walk around and check out all the exhibits and excitement. They collected as much free stuff as they could, then went and watched the race. Dario called me while the race was going so that I could hear how loud it was, and let me tell you it was LOUD! Luckily they all had some ear plugs, otherwise I'm not sure they would still be hearing...

In this video the pace car had just left the track, so you can see the cars all speed up, and boy do they speed up fast! Don't blink, you might miss it!

What have we been up to?

A lot of slacking that's for sure! I am not sure what it is exactly that has kept me from updating our blog... But I am sorry! Now, a little update on our life after Disneyland, otherwise life in the real world.

1. Hunter has his 2 bottom teeth! It took him about a month, a whole lot of fussiness, crankiness, and clinginess... But we all survived! Now I am just nervously awaiting round 2.

2. Hunter has learned to say a combo of mama and no no no by saying na na na! I am taking this as a hint that I say no no way to much.

3. Grandpa Louie came out to see us, I think, it all happened so fast! Hunter thoroughly enjoyed playing with his Grandpa!

4. We took Hunter to our little park for the first time! It was a lot of fun!

5. Dario found out he is going to a nascar race... Never in my wildest dreams did I ever picture him going to one of those! I told him I should cut his hair into a mullet for the event, he didn't really care for that idea too much.

6. Since Dario is going to the race, I am having a girls night! Oh, he is going with the guy's in my family, so I will be hanging out with the gal's in my family! It is going to be fun!

7. Hunter got Bronchiolitis for the second time this spring. Boooo! But he is doing much better! I gotta hand it to him, even though you can tell he feels miserable, he still is a happy little bugger!

8. I am entering the digital world of scrapbooking, thanks to my friend Mandie! I am super excited! I never knew it could be as much fun to look at paper on the computer as it is in real life, I love it! I could go on and on about this, but I will spare you!

9. Hunter can walk around the house pushing a laundry basket... He is growing up way to fast!

10. We had a fabulous Easter! The weather was perfect and so was the day! It was so fun to watch Hunter with his Easter basket that the Easter Bunny left for him! He thought it was pretty cool! He also LOVED the bright Easter eggs! Somehow Hunter makes things a lot more fun!

So about a week ago we drove down to Anaheim California with my parents for a magical get away! It was great to get away for a while and enjoy some sunshine and greenery!

Today is Hunter's SEVEN month Birthday! I know that I always say this, and that is because it is true, but I just cant believe how fast time is going! Hunter had his check up with the doctor today (hence the band aids...) and everything is great! At 7 months old Hunter weighs 18.6 lbs and measures 28.5" long. That puts him in the 51%tile for weight, and 90%tile for length. So basically he is tall and thin, but not too thin! The doctor was pretty impressed with his crawling, and we are too! We sure do love our baby boy!

So this is why I am once again behind on updating our blog...

I have been busy trying to keep up with this little guy! He has been crawling around for about 2 weeks now! I'm still not used to having Hunter move around on his own. It is kinda fun though to have him follow me around the house! When he was first crawling, he really didn't like the tile, he would get to it and then stop and sit down. After a few days though he toughened up and found that the tile wasn't so bad after all.

So I broke down and got Hunter a sippy cup! I wasnt in a hurry to do this because it would just prove that he is growing up way too fast! But I did it, and boy is Hunter glad! He acts more like its a toy than anything. He sees it and has to have it! At first when we gave it to him he kept trying to roll over on his tummy and still expect to drink from it, well you can imagine his frustration when this wasnt working. So I built him a little bed so that he could enjoy his sippy cup! I tell ya, this boy is something else!

"Slow down." Those are the two words that often come to mind when I look at my baby boy. He is growing up way to fast, and seems to be in such a hurry to learn everything. These last 6 months have probably been the fastest 6 months of our lives, but also some of the happiest! It is strange to think that Hunter has not always been here, because now that he is, its like he has always been with us. We sure do love our little guy, and he certainly has stolen our hearts!

Once Again...

...I find myself needing to play catch up. One of these day's I will get into a better routine of updating our blog.
So Hunter can roll over now all by himself! He has been doing this for about a week or so. He mostly goes to his right, but every now and then he goes to the left. Just one more sign that our little guy is growing up way to fast! With this came the need to finally raise the crib guard, especially when I found him once on his tummy!
It's like Hunter found the on button for talking on Sunday. He woke up just a jabbering and has been ever since! But even more importantly, he started it all off by saying "dadadada!" As I am sure you can guess, Dario was pretty excited! Now we just need to work on "mamama"... But until that comes, it sure is cute listening to him talk about his Dada!
We decided it was time to get Hunter his own high chair now that he is taking this eating thing a bit more serious. He seems to really like it, and has figured out that when he's in that chair its time to eat! Speaking of eating, he is becoming quite the eater!
As for Dario and I, not much has changed... no new high chairs, no big monumental marks like rolling over or saying our first words. Dario is still staying busy with work, and Hunter has me working day and night for him! All in all, life is great!

Update on Life

For those of you who have checked our blog over the last couple of days, or weeks, you will know that we have not been too quick to update it. With all the chaos that comes with the holidays we found ourselves with little extra time for such activities. But here we are, alive and well!

On Christmas Eve Hunter turned 5 months old! I can hardly believe how fast he is growing up! He is now up to a whopping 16.5 lbs! He is such a happy little guy, and we love having him with us!

Hunter is now eating some baby food! It's not much, just a little before bedtime to hopefully help him sleep for longer before he wakes up hungry. It's mostly for my sake, the thought of sleeping through the night is delightful! Right now he is mostly eating rice cereal with either sweet potatoes or squash. So far, so good!

We have a sitter! Hunter has been sitting all on his own for about a month now! When we took him in for his 4 month check up the doctor was so surprised to see him sitting so well, he said that usually happens between 6-7 months... Way to go Hunter!

We had a wonderful Christmas! Even though Hunter is too young to understand and really get into it, he sure made it even more fun for us! Santa must have thought that Hunter has been a good boy with the gift that he got for him... A jeep walker! For Christmas we did mostly the usual... visit family, go bowling with the family (Dario won again, thats 2 years in a row now), look at christmas lights, and open presents. However, we did something this year that is new and is now going to be a yearly tradition! A turkey dinner on Christmas day! We made a turkey and then invited our family to come and enjoy! So whoever was available came and joined in on the fun!

All in all, it was a very Merry Christmas!

So alot has happened since we last posted, so we will give you a quick recap of what we have been up to.

For all you folks not in Utah, this is what you are missing out on! This morning we woke up to what some might call a winter wonderland... We would probably have to call it a winter no-mans-land. As hard as it is for us to face the reality, I think this is just the first of MANY snowstorms to come.

It is hard for me to believe that less than a week ago I was out taking Hunter on a walk and the weather was perfect!

When Hunter was first born we would put him in his bouncer and we would buckle him up just for the sake of buckling him up. After seeing that he really was not wiggly enough to fall out we kinda stopped, besides we are always with him when he is in it. But things have kinda changed now that he is getting older...

So, I think we will start to buckle him up again!

So we thought it would be pretty cool to clean out our big pumpkin and put Hunter inside of it. It took him a little while to come around and get used to the idea, but in the end I think he actually liked it...

So we are not sure if Hunter will keep his bright blue eyes forever or if they will eventually become brown like ours... Whatever be the case we sure are enjoying them and will love him just the same regardless! He had his 2 month check up (even though he is now 3 months!) this week and everything is looking great! He weighed in at 14lbs 11oz's and is 26 inches long!

So one day this past week I decided to officially introduce Hunter to his stuffed animals. I figured since they are always in his room with him it wouldn't hurt to be more familiar with them. At first he was not so sure about this, but I think that he eventually got used to the idea.

I think that he was even sharing some secrets with his monkey... Probably something about how his wacky mom is making him pose with some stuffed animals.

This was Hunter's first time wearing some jeans, and he seemed to like them! He has started smiling a lot more lately, he is talking more too! Of course I mean baby talk, and it is sooo cute! He has even tried laughing a couple of times, so cute! He is now 8 weeks old and up to a whopping 14 lbs! But hey, that just means there's more of him to love!

So it was a big weekend for little Hunter! Not only was he blessed on Sunday, but he also met his Grandpa Louie and Aunt Mia for the first time!
It was great to be together with so much family! We truely are so blessed to have such a wonderful family who loves us and is always there for us! Of course Hunters blessing would have been special regardless of who was there, but having so much family there made it even more special! Hunter boy, you sure are loved!

2 Weeks Old!!!

So Hunter had his 2 week appointment today... He now weights 9lbs 3oz, and measures 22" long! I cant believe how fast he is growing! On average most babies are just getting back to their birth weight by 2 weeks... Well Hunter has surpassed that by about a pound and a half! But all in all the Dr. says he is pretty darn healthy! Good job Hunter, keep up the good work! :)

Hunter had his first doctor's appointment yesterday, and the doc said he is back to his birth weight, and that he should be walking by next week. We love having him around and watching him pull his faces. He really loves the hands to the face pose right now. That must be the trend up in heaven!

Hunter Dario Gomez was born on July 24, 2008 weighing in at 7lbs 13oz and measuring 19 1/2 inches long! Needless to say we are super excited that he finally decided to join us!
I had a doctors appointment on the morning of the 23rd and found out I was only dilated to a 1. :( By this point he was already a day late, so that was not very encouraging. However by mid afternoon that same day I started to have some pretty frequent and more intense contractions. Come 11:00 that night they were 4 minutes apart and lasting around a minute each. So we casually put ourselves together, gathered some last minute things, and headed for the hospital. When we first got there I was dilated to a 2, and after an hour of monitoring me, I had dilated to a 3! So they admitted me!
Shortly after that I got my epidural (that was probably the scariest part for me since I hate needles) and life was looking much better! After about 7 hours I had finally dilated to a 10, and we were then just waiting for Hunter to drop a little further down so I wouldn't have to push so long... It still took about an hour anyways and then some forceps, but he made it out!
So now we are at home and are probably the most camera happy we have ever been! Despite all the things that come along with having a baby, sleepless nights, aches and pains (for me), messy diapers... We love him SO much and are SO happy to have him with us!

So I am now officially 39 weeks pregnant! That means that Hunter could realistically come any day now! However, I did go to the doctors today and nothing has changed... So, the little bugger just might stay inside for as long as possible. The doctor did tell me that if I haven't had him by next week, and depending on my body, we could possibly schedule a day for me to be induced. But I am going to keep my fingers crossed that we wont need to do that because he will already be here... I say that and then he wont be, but oh well. :)

So here I am at 39 weeks.

The 4th of July

So yes, once again we are a little behind on this, but here are some pictures of us in the morning at the Kiwanis breakfast and balloon launch. My Dad has been a member of the Kiwanis club for as long as I can remember. With that being said we often go and help them out on the 4th to serve breakfast. It really is a lot of fun!

So a few things have happened since we last posted anything. I will start with the oldest and work my way to the newest!

Dario had a Birthday!!! Lucky for him he had the day off of work, so we started the day off with a good breakfast! Then we went and picked up his present that i got him, a new BBQ! He was a bit surprised because he figured that since our club house had one, we wouldnt need to get one of our own till we move away from here. But I convinced him of otherwise and we got it! We have used it a ton so far! Then we came home and spent the afternoon at the pool, had some kabobs for dinner and then went to our prenatal class. What a day! We had a little party for him the next day with the family for some yummy cake and homemade strawberry ice-cream!

Next on the list of events... Our 3rd Anniversary!!! I cant believe how fast time has gone by! It has been a wonderful 3 years and we are looking forward to many more to come! :) To celebrate the day we went out to eat at Carrabbas! We asked our waiter to take a picture of us and he got a little suspicious and asked if we were celebrating something. So we told him and at the end of our dinner he brought us some sweet dessert for free! What a nice guy!

Last but not least, I am now 37 weeks along! That means that Hunter could come any day now and he would be completely developed! I went to the doctors yesterday and I am just barely dialating, but hey, I will take barely over not at all!

So here's the scoop... I feel huge! You know that feeling you get after eating way more than you should and your stomach feels like it cant possibly stretch out any further, well thats how I feel. The only thing is the feeling you get after eating too much normally goes away within a few hours, but this feeling is not going to be going away for another 4 weeks or so. I cant squeeze through places I once could (although sometimes I seem to forget that) and my stomach bumps into so many things. Giving hugs is getting more awkward, I feel like I have to stick my butt out so far to give them. And just to type this up, I am seriously sitting like 2 feet away from the desk just so that I can pull out the drawer far enough to type!

But in spite of all the hugeness, as I said above, just another 4 weeks and this will all be over! I cant believe how close it is getting to Hunter being here. I had a doctors appointment this week and all is looking good! His head is down and my belly is measuring right on! Who knows, maybe it wont be quite 4 weeks... I guess we will just have to wait and see!

Oh, and just for the record, Dario has finally put on a little sympathy weight for me. Although you would never know that just by looking at him! But it makes me feel better! Thanks sweetie! :)

They are called crazy daisies, so I thought they
would be perfect for the birthday girl. I can't believe
you are 22 today Steph!

We obviously ran out of any usable wrapping paper,
so I resorted to what was available--our daily paper.
Love that face!

We were definitely in need (want) of a camcorder,
especially since little Hunter will be joining us in July.
Now we'll be able to capture all his most embarrassing
moments and share them with all our people!!

Lucky day for Steph! The rainbow seemed like it
was just right outside our back door. I think it's
supposed to bring good fortune for seven
consecutive birthdays. That's the word on the
street.

9 weeks left...

... Until the arrival of our baby Hunter! Yes that means that I am now 31 weeks along, and feeling rather large. At 16" long, it is hard for me to believe that he is really curled up in there... in me! I can tell that he is running out of room because instead of kicking me so much, he shoves me around and tries to escape through my belly... Hang tight kiddo! Oh, and yes I did cut off my hair, and I LOVE it in this heat we've been having!

Baby's Room

So we finally did some painting and rearranging
in the soon to be baby's room. It is hard to believe
that this room actually used to look like this, and did
for about 7 months! Yikes!!!

Here is the new and improved look! Eventually the
craft table will be replaced with a crib and i will be
forced to use the kitchen table for my projects, rats!

We also painted the bathroom across the hall to match
the bedroom. Once again, this bathroom was plain and
boring just until now!

It is a lot happier of a place now, in fact Dario
was a little envious of the baby's cool bathroom!
We did most the work you see here ourselves, minus
a little (lot) of help from my dad with the wood work!
Thanks dad! :)

This here dresser may look brand new, but dont be
fooled by its make-over! It is approximately 40 years old! It has been in my family since it was brand new and has been passed on as a hand me down. So needless to say it had some wear and tear to it so we decided to fix it up! I think we did a fabulous job, if you were asking me... Oh, and yes this is for baby!

This is me at 27 weeks! Our baby boy is pretty active these days, maybe he'll be into sports, that seems to run in the Gomez blood! He likes to stretch out a lot so we get the enjoyment of feeling him poke out on both sides of my tummy at once! He is a lot of fun so far, and some days it just makes me wish we were a little closer to him being here. But for now I will continue to enjoy my days doing whatever i want and not having to worry about a crying baby, stinky diapers, or feeding time! Life is great! :)

Campin' Desert Style

Steph had been planning this camping trip for quite some time now. She knew we would be doing some hiking and that, by being pregnant, she would be limited in her physical capabilities. So we couldn't push the trip back any further. Her family came as well, including her brother and his family who came from eastern Texas. The nights were very cold, but the days were pleasant with plenty of sunshine.

Warm Arizona

Say what you want about Arizona's summers, but when we went down there last week, it was perfect. Low eighties, nice and sunny (we can't wait til it gets like that up here) and clean air. We went down to catch a spring training game before the regular season hit off, but I guess the real reason was to get away for a while and find someplace warm. We've been done with winter for a while now.

The temple grounds were beautiful. We walked around for quite a while admiring and smelling the flowers and trees. Sounds pretty lame, but it was nice. Look closely, and you can see Junior sticking out Steph's belly. Can't wait to see him.

Couldn't resist getting a pic with the clydesdales and pup. The game was warm as expected. Nothing like watching the game with a hotdog and sunflower seeds.

Steph's uncle took us to a local BBQ joint, and they had the best ribs I've had since childhood back in Georgia. The atmosphere actually made you think you were out in the country somewhere, not near downtown. So good. I'd go back for that.

We made a couple stops on the way home to prolong our stay in the warm weather. (It snowed the next day in Utah.) We even threw in a stop with a cop who claimed we were speeding through his small town of 350 people. We got only a warning.

and all that jazz

We decided to support our home team and attend a basketball game. It was the first Jazz game that we have ever gone to together (we did go to a college game once back in ATL), and it was pretty sweet. The Jazz kept their home winning streak alive at 19 in a row, which ties a franchise record. Whoohoo!!!

We went with Michael and Tara, Steph's brother and sister-in-law. We sat way up high, but we could still see everything. Only a couple nosebleeds! One of the Raptor's team members got ejected in the fourth quarter when the Jazz were pulling away, so that got pretty intense. We had a fun time up in SLC.

I can't believe it, we're having a boy! We just had the ultrasound yesterday and everything looks great! However it took two trips to find out it was actually a boy. When we had the original appointment at noon, the baby was curled up too tight to see much, so we had to go back a few hours later. Luckily he had completely changed positions and was even sitting up higher than before. So we got a real nice shot! I am now officially half way there! Hooray!!!

We are even making some cupcakes tonight to celebrate his half birthday! This is quite a milestone for us that's for sure! Dario was convinced that we would have all girls, and in his words the night before the ultrasound, he said "I will be pretty surprised if we find out we are having a boy, I will be shocked..." Well, lets just say he was pretty excited! Look, I think baby is actually waving to the camera. Awesome!

Garden Room

So we've been in our home for about five months now, and it's been great. We have only a few complaints, but nothing too troublesome. Just prior to moving in, we took the liberty of painting most the interior to liven up the place. Steph is pretty good at the interior design thing, and she was even toying with the idea of looking into it last year. Toying. We're not sure why we actually waited this long to finally get some things up in our bedroom, but days turned into weeks and... well, it's a step in the right direction. Here's a visual aide.

I will have you know that I put that headboard together-- with the help of some borrowed power tools. Steph wanted to delegate this as the garden room. That sounds great. We'll just buy some trees and put them all around our bed!
